The model is an adapter designed for mounting your phone or GPS navigation unit on the CFMOTO 450MT (also known as "IBEX 450") motorcycle.
Features:
- The navigation unit is positioned above the main dash display, ensuring the navigation information is within your view.
- It provides an extremely stable mount, with no shaking or rattling, even on rough roads or off-road terrain.
- The adapter mount does not interfere with the windshield height adjustment mechanism.
- Multiple options for mounting your gadget. Two pairs of 4 holes in the AMPS pattern (30x38 mm) are provided. One set of holes is in a horizontal layout, and the other is in a vertical layout. Alternatively, mounting on a central M5 bolt is possible in three different heights. Thus, you can install virtually any phone/GPS holder or tablet available on the market. All those Carpuride, Garmin, RAM, QuadLock, and SP-Connect are compatible.
- The position and the tilt angle of your GPS unit can be adjusted to your personal preferences by the provided spacer and wedges.
Evolution & evolved features
- The first original model was published in the summer of 2024, and the last significant modification was published in spring 2025.
- The tilt angle of the installed phone has been optimized. Originally, it was noticed during autumn that the low sun could cause annoying reflections over the rider's shoulder. With the optimized tilt angle, this is no longer an issue. For me (178cm/5ft10in + standard seat+seating position), no wedge is needed.
- The position of your GPS unit could be adjusted by the spacer. For example if your phone has the power cable connected at the bottom and it interferes with the main dash, inserting the spacer can fix that.
- Multiple mounting options. The 4 holes in AMPS pattern (30mm x 38mm) are provided in the vertical and horizontal layout. Holes in three height positions for central M5 mount screw are provided.
- A hairline cross on the installation face for easier measuring the distances. ;)
- Some emboss graphics, so the mounting adapter nicely blends with the bike design.
- At a custom request, the XL version is also added (thanks to Almir) for mounting a large tablet with a width of 230 mm, a height of 155 mm and a bottom edge 85 mm low from the center between the mounting screws.
Material & installation recommendations:
- It is recommended to use a material with good impact resistance and layer adhesion to withstand vibrations.
- The material should be resistant to UV and outdoor weather conditions.
- You should be able to print 40Β° (from bed) overhang slope on your printer.
- For installation, replace the two original bolts on the top of the cockpit with 2 pieces of M5x25mm bolts. It is recommended to use washers under the bolt heads.
- To further secure stability and minimize vibrations, use double-sided adhesive tape under the base.
- The piece for my personal use is printed from PC/ABS mix. The inexpensive PETG will also work perfectly. Optionaly some material like PA6-CF can be used, but that's probably too expensive overkill. I would advise against using materials such as ASA, as although it is strong, it can be somewhat brittle.

Side notes:
- The model has excellent shape stability. The initial prototype print was tested with 2walls 10% infill made of plain PLA, it worked perfectly fine on potholes road and light offroad. However, to avoid any fatigue crack and keep your pricey GPS unit safe, I recommend printing with thick walls (I use 4-5 perimeters for my personal prints).
- If you need to adjust the model with a different holes pattern, custom text or specific dimensions, please do not hesitate to me.
